I loved this! It was, in short, the zombie apocalypse romance of my dreams! (and yes, I have dreamt of such a thing.) It’s an action packed roadtrip romance that makes you think – what if you met the right person, but on the eve of a full blown zombie apocalypse? 

Maisie and Everett had such a fun opposites attract vibe – Maisie is a badass but sheltered ultra prepared prepper, raised on the fringes of society, while Everett leads a much softer lifestyle as a cat dad and professor of film & television. Maisie agrees to drive Everett through the zombie filled streets to meet up with his family, and in exchange, Everett will teach her about sex, which she desperately wants to experience for the first time before the world ends.

No one does humor like Laura Piper Lee, combined with a dangerous setting, the roadtrip, the side quests, the chemistry and attraction of the MCs, it was an all around fun time! I really had a blast reading this. Perfect for the upcoming spooky season (or anytime!)
